Who you are dealing with
LootSMP is a Minecraft server and website run by the operator of LootSMP. Using the server, the website or the store means these terms apply to you. If you do not agree with them, do not buy anything and do not play here.
We are not Mojang or Microsoft, we are not endorsed by them, and Minecraft is theirs. You need your own copy of the game.
Who takes your money
Payments are handled by Tebex, who act as the merchant of record. Your card details go to them and never to us: we are told that a payment completed, which package it was for and which player it was for, and nothing else. Tebex’s own terms and privacy policy cover the payment itself, and you accept them at their checkout.
What a rank actually is
A rank raises four numbers on your account — homes, auction slots, order slots and quick-buy slots — and puts your name in a colour. That is all it does, and all it is allowed to do. It buys no items, no money, no powers and no advantage in a fight or in the market.
You are buying a licence to use a feature on this server for a period of time. You are not buying property, an account, an item, or anything you can sell or transfer. Nothing you buy has value outside this server, and we do not exchange any of it for money.
Ranks are sold by the month and nothing renews by itself. There is no card on file and nothing to cancel: when the time runs out, the rank does, and you buy more if you want more.
Getting what you paid for
A rank is granted automatically, usually within a minute of the payment clearing, whether you are online or not. If it has not arrived within an hour, tell us with the name you paid under and we will find it. Every payment is recorded the moment it completes, so it is a question of finding it rather than of whether it happened.
Changing your mind
Fourteen days. If you are in the EU or the UK you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within fourteen days, and we do not ask you to waive it. Ask within fourteen days of buying and you get your money back; we will remove the rank at the same time, and we may reduce the refund to reflect what you have already used.
After fourteen days, refunds are at our discretion. We would rather sort out a genuine problem than argue about one, so ask.
Chargebacks
If you raise a chargeback or a payment dispute instead of asking us, the purchase is reversed, the rank is removed and the account is banned from the server and the store. This is not a punishment for wanting your money back — it is what happens because the payment no longer exists. Ask us first; we answer.
If you are banned
Breaking the rules can get you banned, and a ban is not a refund. Time left on a rank is lost. We are not going to pretend otherwise: buying something does not buy a different set of rules, and it has never made a ban appeal more likely to succeed.
If we close the server, or remove a feature you have paid for, and the ban is not your doing, we will refund the unused part of anything you are still holding.
Paying for somebody else
You may buy a rank for another player, and it is granted to the name you enter. Make sure you get the name right — we cannot move a rank once it has landed, and a rank granted to the wrong person is not a refundable mistake.
If you are under 18, get whoever owns the money’s permission before you spend it. We will refund a purchase made by a child without their parent’s consent.
What we can change
This is a game and it is being worked on. Features change, prices change, and the numbers a rank raises may change with them. We will not quietly reduce something you are paying for: if a rank’s benefits are cut during a period you have already paid for, you can have the unused part of it back.
We may change these terms. The date at the top is when they last changed, and a change never applies backwards to a purchase you have already made.
The boring part
The server is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of bugs, or that your builds and items will survive every possible failure — we take backups and we take them seriously, but a game server is not a bank. Nothing here limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for death, personal injury or fraud.
These terms are governed by the operator's local law, and nothing in them takes away a consumer right you have where you live.
